According to China Railway, the world's longest heavy- haul railway project, Mengxi to Central China Railway (Menghua Railway), was officially renamed Haoji Railway. The test team began to carry out the dynamic detection of tracks, communication signals, contact networks and other systems of Haoji Railway on August 19th.
A person from the National Railway Group explained to the reporter that according to the naming rules of China's railway line, the name of the line is generally named after the first or short combination of the starting and ending points of the railway.
Haoji Railway starts from Haole Baoji in Inner Mongolia autonomous region and ends at Ji 'an in Jiangxi province. Hence the name of the Haoji Railway comes from this.
