Key coal enterprises in Shanxi will be connected to special railway lines by 202

Shanxi Provincial People's Government recently issued the Implementation Plan for the Promotion of Transportation Structure Adjustment in Shanxi Province (hereinafter referred to as “plan”). It is proposed that all key coal mining enterprises in Shanxi province will be connected to the special railway lines; the proportion of coal and coke transportation by railway will reach more than 80%; all the coal and coke that transported to other provinces are basically by railway, and the railway freight volume of Shanxi province is 200 million tons more than that of 2017 by 2020.

According to the plan, by 2020, large industrial and mining enterprises and new logistics parks with an annual l cargo volume of over 1.5 million tons in Shanxi province will build special railway lines in principle. The plan lists 54 key railway construction projects in Shanxi province from 2018 to 2020, including the special railway line of Datong Coal Mine Group Co., Ltd. and the special railway line of Zhengzhuang of Shanxi Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group. According to the statistics, the total mileage will reach 383.63km, with a total investment of 33.497 billion Yuan.
