China imported 25.299 million tons of coal in April, up 13.53%

According to the data released by the General Administration of Customs on May 8, China imported 25.299 million tons of coal in April, up 3.016 million tons or 13.53% year on year, and up 1.817 million tons or 7.74% on the month. The cumulative volume of imported coal was 99.926 million in the first four months of 2019, up 1.7% year on year.
 
China exported 503 thousand tons of coal in April, down 8 thousand tons or 1.57% year on year, and down 62 thousand tons or 10.97% on the month. The cumulative volume of exported coal was 2.327 million in the first four months of 2019, up 57.3% year on year.
