China exported 582 thousand tons of coke in April, down 28.41%

According to the data released by the General Administration of Customs on May 8, China exported 582 thousand tons of coke in April, down 231 thousand tons or 28.41% year on year, and down 18 thousand tons or 3% on the month.
 
The export value of coke was $177.1 million in April, down 29.69% year on year but up 0.63% on the month. According to this, the unit price of export is estimated to be $304.3/mt, up $10.96/mt on the month, but down $5.54/mt year on year.
 
The cumulative volume of exported coke was 2.585 million tons in the first four months of 2019, down 13.8% year on year. And the cumulative export value was $782.8 million, down 15% year on year.
