Xi'an Railway Bureau cancels coal freight floating policy

Xi'an Railway Bureau has cancelled the policy of 10% increase of coal freight for the whole vehicle to other stations except the Chengdu Bureau and the Kunming Bureau since 18:00 on April 26, 2019.
 
It is estimated that the freight of Shaanxi Coal Selling and Transportation(Group) Tongchuan Branch to Zhengzhou Bureau will drop by about 10-15 yuan/mt on average and the freight rate to Wuhan Bureau and Guangzhou Bureau will drop by about 15-20 yuan/mt on average after the adjustment.
 
This policy can effectively reduce the comprehensive arrival price of coal users in the regional markets of Shandong, Henan, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Guangdong, etc., reducing the cost of coal enterprises outside the province to a certain extent, playing a certain positive role in further increasing the transport capacity base of Shaanxi coal and improving the realization of the implementation of medium - and long-term user contracts outside the province.
 
The Notice involves the reduction of freight rates for coal including: China Railway Taiyuan Bureau Group Co., Ltd.'s (hereinafter referred to as Taiyuan Railway Bureau), Fengjiachuan Station, Caijiaya Station, Xingxian Station, Linxian North Station, Mengmen Station and Xi'an Railway Bureau Group Corporation's various railway stations in the north of Yulin to Rizhao South Station and Liangshan North Station via the Wari Railway (the railway from Watang Town, Xing County, Lvliang City to Shandong Rizhao Port).
 
The Notice clarifies that the above-mentioned coal freight shall not decrease by more than 30%, and the specific freight shall be determined by the delivery bureau of the above-mentioned routes independently.
