Shanxi's coal output was 134.659 million tons in Jan.-Feb., up 6%

According to Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Statistics, the output of raw coal of industrial enterprises above designated size in Shanxi Province was 134.659 million tons in the first two months of 2019, up 6% year on year.
 
Among them, Yangquan's raw coal output was 7.459 million tons in the first two months, down 0.2% year on year. And the output of washed coal was 2.249 million tons in the first two months, down 12.6% year on year. Lvliang 's raw coal output was 15.856 million tons in the first two months, up 4.2% year on year. The output of clean coal was 9.006 million tons in the first two months, down 11.4% year on year. And the output of the washed coal was 4.908 million tons in the first two months, up 1.2% year on year.
 
In terms of value added of industrial enterprises above designated size, both Yangquan Coal Industry Group and Jinneng Group achieved double-digit growth in January-February, up 11.8% and 16.2% year on year respectively.
The increase in the industrial added value of Yangmei Group (city) accounted for 58.5% of the total, driving the city's industrial growth by 6.6 percentage points. Jinneng Group's industrial added value accounted for 7.4% of the total, driving the city's industrial growth by 1.1 percentage points.
