1. The National Development and Reform Commission and National Energy Administration approved four coal mine projects in Shanxi and Inner Mongolia area with a total production capacity of 17 million tons/year.National Development and Reform Commission and National Energy Administration issued a notice recently to approve four coal mine projects with a total production capacity of 17 million tons/year, which are the Pangpangta coal mine project of Huozhou Coal and Electricity Group Lvlin Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. (the construction scale is 10 million tons/year), Inner Mongolia Manitu Mining Area Da’an Coal Mine Project (the construction scale is 1.2 million tons/year), Inner Mongolia Shanghaimiao Mining Area Great Wall No. 1 Coal Mine Reconstruction and Expansion Project (the production capacity is from 600 thousand tons/year to 1.8 million tons/year), Shanxi Longwan Coal Mine Project of Jincheng Mining Area (the construction scale is 4 million tons/year).
2.The completion of the connect network transformation of the Zhangjiakou-Jining section of the Tangshan-Hohhot Railway will increase the annual transportation volume of the coal export channel in Inner Mongolia to 100 million tons. This will become a green channel for the transportation of Western Inner Mongolian coal to the east.
3. Gansu stopped approving coal mine construction with a capacity of less than 300 thousand tons/year. Recently, Gansu provincial government has proposed to stop the approval of new, rebuilt and expanded coal mines with a capacity below 300 thousand tons/year (excluding) and approval of coal and gas outburst mines with new capacity below 900 thousand tons/year (excluding). Existing coal mines with gas outburst, rock burst and other disaster-prone production mines, in principle, can no longer expand production capacity.
4. Guizhou Liupanshui plans to release coal production capacity of 11.6 million tons/year in 2019. According to the Energy Bureau of Liupanshui, Guizhou Province, the city plans to release 11.6 million tons of production capacity per year in 2019, so as to make enough coal fuel and ensure the continuous development of coal raw materials.
