NBS:China's raw coal output was 3.68 billion tons in 2018

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) published the national economy and society developed statistical bulletin in 2018 on February,28, noting that China's raw coal output was 3.68 billion tons in 2018, up 4.5% year on year.
 
China's coal imports reached 281.23 million tons in 2018, up 3.9% year on year. And the import value was 161.3 billion Yuan, up 4.9% year on year.
 
China's total energy consumption was 4.64 billion tons of standard coal in 2018, up 3.3% year on year. China 's coal consumption rose 1.0% year on year, and coal consumption accounted for 59.0% of total energy consumption, down 1.4 percentage points from the previous year.
