Coal prices in Jincheng of Shanxi up 5.6% on the month in January

According to Jincheng Municipal Commerce Bureau, Jincheng 's coal prices increased on the month. In January of 2019, the average price of coal in Jincheng was 672 yuan/mt, up 5.6% on the month.
 
Among them, the prices of anthracite (2#) were 672.5 yuan/mt, up 5.6% on the month. The prices of thermal coal (CV4500-5800) were 594.38 yuan/mt, the same as last month. And the prices of coking coal (1/3 coking coal) were 800 yuan/mt, the same as last month.
 
According to the analysis of the Jincheng Municipal Commerce Bureau, coal prices began to rebound slightly after entering into the winter. The main reasons are as follows:Urban heating enterprises began to hoard coal for heating in winter. The supply and demand of coal market tended to moderate, and the obvious increase of coal demand drove up the price. However, coal enterprises were affected by the cost and environmental protection policies this year. Under the healthy and stable coal development environment built by the country, the price of coal has not increased much.
 
It is expected that the supply will be relatively sufficient in the later period, and the coal price will be mainly stable.
