Guizhou will ensure the mechanization of coal mining increase to 80% in 2019

According to the work report of the Guizhou Provincial People's Government, Guizhou Province will speed up the intelligent transformation of coal mining mechanization in 2019, ensuring that the mechanization of coal mining will increase to 80%, and start a number of new coal mine projects to ensure that the supply of thermal coal is more than 70 million tons.
 
Guizhou Province closed 74 coal mines, reducing production capacity of 10.38 million tons, and the mechanization degree of coal mining reached 71.7% in 2018.
 
According to a notice released by the Guizhou Energy Administration, there were 420 coal mines in Guizhou Province with a total production capacity of 155.77 million tons/year by the end of 2018.
 
Ding Xiongjun, Director of the Guizhou Energy Administration, once said that Guizhou Province currently has 1,039 registered coal mines with a total production capacity of 324.29 million tons per year. Among them, 349 coal mines that are in normal operation with a total production capacity of 135.46 million tons per year.
