Shaanxi Province ensured stable supply of thermal coal

According to Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Shaanxi Power Grid has been under heavy load since the peak winter, and the thermal power generation enterprises have increased their coal consumption. As of January 27, thermal coal inventories of 25 coal-fired thermal power companies in Shaanxi Province fell by about 500 thousand tons from the beginning of the month, and there was a potential risk for guaranteed supply.
 
In order to further ensure the stable supply of thermal coal in Shaanxi Province during the “Spring Festival” and “two sessions” and ensure the safe and stable operation and reliable power supply of Shaanxi Power Grid, Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission organized a special conference on the supply of thermal coal in the province to arrange the deployment of coal to ensure supply on January 28.
