China's coal mining and processing industry profits up 5.2% in 2018

According to National Bureau of Statistics, China's coal mining and processing industry above designated size achieved a total profit of 6,635.14 billion yuan in 2018, up 10.3% year on year.

China's mining industry realized a total profit of 524.64 billion yuan in 2018, up 40.1% year on year. Among them, the coal mining and processing industry achieved a total profit of 288.82 billion yuan, up 5.2% year on year.

In 2018, the industrial enterprises above designated size achieved a main business income of 102.2 trillion yuan, up 8.5% year on year. The cost of the main business was 85.7 trillion yuan, up 8.3% year on year. And the main business income margin was 6.49%, 0.11 percentage points higher than that of the previous year.

The coal mining and processing industry achieved a main business income of 2,266.03 billion yuan in 2018, up 5.5% year on year.

In addition, the operating cost of coal mining and processing industry was 1,754.52 billion yuan in 2018,up 4.2% year on year. Among them, the cost of the main business was 1,572.14 billion yuan, up 5.7% year on year. And the cost of main business of the mining industry was 3,051.25 billion yuan, up 3.2% year on year.
