Shandong produced 9.57 million tons of raw coal in December

According to the latest dispatching data released by Shandong Administration of Coal Mine Safety on Jan. 9th, coal mines in Shandong produced 9.57million tons of raw coal in December, down 2.115 million tons or 18.1% compared with 11.685 million tons of last month, and down 605 thousand tons or 5.95% compared with 10.175 million tons the same period of last year.

The cumulative volume of raw coal produced by coal mines in Shandong was 124.173 million in 2018, down 1.553 million tons or 1.24% year on year.

Among them, raw coal output of the provincial coal mines was 99.258 million tons, up 11.05 million tons year on year. Raw coal output of the municipal and county’s coal mines was 24.915 million tons, down 2.658 million tons year on year.

There was 1 accident in all coal mines in Shandong Province in December, and 3 people have died. And there were 5accidents and 27 deaths in coal mines in total in Shandong Province in 2018, and the death rate per million tons was 0.209. Compared with the same period of last year, the number of accidents increased by 2, and the number of deaths increased by 23.
