Huaibei Mining Group's raw coal output fell 4.71%

According to the announcement issued by Anhui Huaibei Mining (Group) Co., Ltd.on January 7th, in terms of coal business, Huaibei Mining Group's output of raw coal was 28.0077 million tons in 2018, down 4.71% year on year. The output of commercial coal was 23.3286 million tons, down 4.79% year on year. And the sales volume of commercial coal was 20.4748 million tons, down 11.37% year on year.

In terms of coke, Huaibei Mining Group's output of coke was 3.8022 million tons in 2018, up 29.06% year on year. And the coke sales reached 3.8641 million tons, up 35.51% year on year.

In addition, the Group's methanol output and its sales increased by 66.21% and 68.36% year on year respectively.

According to the announcement, the main reason for the sharp increase in output and sales of coke and methanol is that in 2017, Anhui Linhuan Chemical Co., Ltd. (the company has been absorbed and merged by the subsidiary of Linhuan Coking Co., Ltd.) was engaged in the production commissioning stage of coking units and methanol plants. At the stage, the output was low. But it produced throughout the year in 2018.
