According to Hunan Daily, there are many small coal mines in Hunan Province, which is one of the provinces with the most complicated geological conditions and the highest safety risks in China.
Hunan Administration of Coal Mine Safety released the news on December 27 that from now until the end of June 2019, they would take the lead to carry out safety "physical examination" of high-risk coal mines one by one, systematically screening out disaster-causing factors and major safety risks, rectifying and eliminating major hidden dangers, and prevent serious and major accidents.
