China’s coal consumption will fall to around 58.5% next year

According to Economic Daily, the 2019 National Energy Work Conference was held in Beijing on December 27th.

Zhang Jianhua, Director of the National Energy Administration, said that in 2019,
the proportion of coal consumption would fall to about 58.5%, the average coal consumption per kilowatt-hour of power supply in coal-fired power plants would drop by 1 gram compared with the same period of last year, and the national average wind abandoning rate would be less than 10%, light abandoning rate and water abandoning rate would be less than 5%.
