Entrepreneurs Forum at the 2019 National Coal Trade Fair

Entrepreneurs Forum at the 2019 National Coal Trade Fair was held on December 5, 2018 in Qinhuangdao City of Hebei Province. Wang Xianzheng, President of China National Coal Association, attended the Entrepreneurs Forum and made a concluding speech. Liang Jiakun, Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President and Secretary-General of China National Coal Association, presided over the Entrepreneurs Forum. Jiang Zhimin, Vice President of China National Coal Association, Zhang Hong, Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection of China National Coal Association, attended the Forum.
 
This Entrepreneurs Forum, with the theme of "celebrating 40 years of reform and opening-up of the coal industry and promoting high-quality development of the coal industry in the new era", summarized the achievements made by the coal industry and showed the contributions made by enterprises as the main body of the industry development.  
In the concluding speech, President Wang Xianzheng first affirmed the important position of entrepreneurs and gave high praise to their outstanding contributions. Then he pointed out the direction for the development of coal industry in future and put forward a series of valuable opinions.
 
He pointed out several key points in the development of coal industry, and hoped that everyone could further understand and strengthen mutual understanding: First, we should maintain the overall balance of coal supply and demand in the country. Second, considering whether the medium and long-term contract price of coal is in the pre-sales range or not? Third, enterprises should have a clear understanding that the overall operation of the coal economy is stable and moderately good, but some enterprises have turned losses into winners. Fourth, the security situation has improved. Fifth, the total amount of coal tends to be normal. And market risks should be prevented while ensuring smooth operation. Sixth, supply-side structural reform on coal and the industrial structure need to be further optimized.
 
In the entrepreneurial speech session, seven entrepreneurs, including Wang Jinli, Member of the Party Leading Group and Deputy General Manager of China Energy Group, Peng yi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China National Coal Group, Cui Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President and General Manager of Datong Coal Mine Group，Jin Zhixin, Member of the Standing Committee, Vice President and General Manager of Shanxi Coking Coal Group, Wang Yongge, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President and General Manager of Yangmei Group, Kong Xiangxi, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Huainan Mining Industry Group, Yang Zhaoqian, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group made reports on the reform process of the coal industry and the development of their own enterprise, sharing their experiences on the development of energy strategy, and also proposed many new ideas for the development of the coal industry in the 40 years since the reform and opening-up.
