China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association Member Conference

The China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association Member Conference & the 20th Anniversary Symposium were held in Beijing on the afternoon of November 23, 2018. Wang Xianzheng, President of China National Coal Association, Jiang Zhimin, Vice President of China National Coal Association, Xu Zhimin, the former inspector of the Bureau of Economic Operation Regulation of the National Development and Reform Commission, Hong Shangqing, Director of the Dispatching Department of the former Ministry of Coal Industry, Liu Caiying, the former Chairman of China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association, Liu Xilong, Director of the Coal Department of the Bureau of Economic Operation Regulation of the National Development and Reform Commission, Yangxianfeng, Director of the Economic Operation Regulation Department of China National Coal Association and Chairman of China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association, Dr. Feng Yu, Vice Chairman of China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association and President of China Coal Market, and other leaders attended the conference and delivered speeches.
 
Comrade Wang Xianzheng, President of China National Coal Association, delivered an important speech. He deeply reviewed the achievements and experience of the coal transportation and sales business since the reform and opening up, especially in the past 20 years, and fully affirmed the achievements of the China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association.

He emphasized that the new era, new mission and new changes have brought new opportunities and new challenges to the coal transportation and sales work. China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association was required to accurately grasp the development situation of the industry, clarifying the tasks and conscientiously do a good job in the analysis and forecasting of the need and supply of the coal market, in order to guide enterprises to organize production scientifically. The Association also needs to continuously innovate the ideas of coal transportation and sales, striving to promote the market-oriented reform of coal, strengthening the construction of coal transportation and sales teams, and strive to promote the all-round development of coal transportation and sales in the new era by persistent efforts.
 
At the same time, the Third Session of the 4th China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association Council was held in the morning of the same day. The council deliberated and approved the resolutions on the establishment of the port logistics professional committee, the internal organization adjustment and the salary system reform. Meanwhile, the council deliberated the draft revision, the revision of collection of fees and management methods, and the draft resolutions of the addition and adjustment of managing directors, council members and supervisors, which laid the foundation for the convening of the China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association Member Conference & the 20th Anniversary Symposium.
 
Yangxianfeng, Chairman of China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association， gave a report titled “welcoming the new era and starting a new journey to promote the high-quality development of coal transportation and sales” on behalf of the Fourth Council. He comprehensively summarized the development history, work performance and experience of the association in the past 20 years, and systematically analyzed the situation and tasks of coal transportation and sales business and the association in the current and future period. He proposed ideas and arrangements for promoting the high-quality development of coal transportation and sales.  
The conference also invited the first batch of experts from the Expert Committee of China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association and the expert appointment letters were awarded at the conference.
