China imported 9.06 million tons of thermal coal in Oct.

According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs, China imported 9.06 million tons of thermal coal(thermal coal contains bituminous coal and sub-bituminous coal, but does not include lignite, the same below )in October, up 2.2 million tons or 32.07% year on year, and down 30 thousand tons or 0.33% on the month.
 
The cumulative volume of imported thermal coal was 101.81 million in the first ten months, up 13.59 million tons or 15.4% year on year.
 
China imported 7.39 million tons of lignite in October, down 1.23 million tons or 14.27% year on year, and down 980 thousand tons or 11.71% on the month.
 
The cumulative volume of imported lignite was 85.52 million in the first ten months, up 17.46 million tons or 25.65% year on year.
