China's coal-to-ethanol technology opens the new era of industrialization

According to China Science Daily, Xinjiang Tianye Group Co., Ltd.'s coal-to-ethanol project with 1.2 million tons/year in Phase I –the license contract of coal-to-ethanol patent technology implementation with 600 thousand tons/year was signed in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences on November 13.
 
This indicates that China's coal-to-ethanol technology has officially opened the era of megaton industrialization, and it will provide industrial support for the development of downstream products of coal-based ethanol.
 
The signing of this technology licensing contract is one of the important measures for Dalian Chemical Industry to actively respond to the Xinjiang Aid strategy raised by the Party and the state. Since the implementation of “Technology Supports Xinjiang” in 2010, Dalian Institute of Chemical Industry has launched multi-level and multi-faceted scientific and technological project cooperation with many enterprises in Xinjiang.
