Daqin line transported 34.63 million tons of coal in Oct.

According to the announcement issued by the Daqin Railway on November 11, 2018, the company's core operating assets, Daqin Line, completed 34.63 million tons of cargo transportation in October, down 7.31% year on year and down 3.25 million tons or 8.58% on the month.

The cumulative volume of cargo transportation was 374.17 million in the first ten months of 2018, up 4.06% year on year.
　　
Daqin Railway's autumn overhaul period for this year was from September 29th to October 23rd. During this period, railway workers overhauled the line from 9:00 to 12:00 every day. Affected by this, the volume of transportation decreased by 200 thousand to 250 thousand tons, and the average daily traffic volume fell to 1.1171 million tons in October.

According to the inventory and railway loading of Qinhuangdao Port and Caofeidian Port, the transportation volume of the Daqin line rebounded rapidly after the overhaul, and the daily transportation volume of the Daqin line recovered to a peak of about 1.31 million tons at the end of October. This reflects the traffic demand is still very strong. Assuming an average daily volume of 1.3 million tons in November and December, the annual volume will reach 453.5 million tons in 2018.
