CERS: China's coal market is balanced and quality of supply is constantly im

According to the Annual Meeting of 2018 China Energy Research Society held on the Nov. 7th, China's overall coal market is balanced , and the quality of supply is constantly improving and coal prices fluctuate within a reasonable range.

China’s coal consumption was 2.875 billion tons in the first nine months,  up 84 million tons or 3% year on year. Cumulative output of raw coal of enterprises above designated size totaled 2.59 billion tons, up 126 million tons or 5.1% year on year.

According to the analysis of China Energy Research Society, the supply and demand of China's coal market is generally stable in 2019. However, in view of  uncertainties such as weather,which does not exclude the situation that some areas will be constrained by resources and transportation under extreme weather, leading to the tight supply in a certain period.
