CIEPC signed a 20 million tons import agreement with Indonesia

Coal Import and Export Professional Committee of China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association signed a "Memorandum of Understanding" with Indonesian Coal Mining Association during China International Import Expo on Nov. 6th 2018.

Both sides work together to promote the annual target of 20 million tons of trade, jointly recognizing the RMB settlement, and try to promote the settlement of coal transactions between member units in RMB.

This activity led by China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association, and was organized by Coal Import and Export Professional Committee. On one hand, in response to the call of China International Import Expo, this signing activity will actively promote trade between China and Indonesia. On the other hand, it will play the role of Coal import and Export Professional Committee and set a new cross-enterprise and cross-border precedent of long-term agreement mechanism participated by the government and associations in this industry.
