Bulk coal consumption in Henan will be reduced by 1215 thousand tons

According to Henan Electric Power of State Grid’s message, Henan Province has completed the annual task of ancillary power grid construction for coal to electricity, which has built a solid foundation of improving air quality.

The province plans that there are 1168 thousand families that are heated from coal to electricity in 2018, involving 7020 villages and central heating projects, and covers 50710 thousand square meters.

There will be 1.518 billion KWH of added heating electricity in the heating season in 2018, which is estimated by the condition that electric quantity for heating of each family is 1300 KWH. As a result, 1215 thousand tons of bulk coal consumption will be reduced.
