China imported 9.09 million tons of thermal coal in Sep.

According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs, China imported 9.09 million tons of thermal coal(thermal coal contains bituminous coal and sub-bituminous coal, but does not include lignite, the same below )in September, down 1.13 million tons or 11.06% year on year, and down 2.99 million tons or 24.75% on the month.
 
The cumulative volume of imported thermal coal was 93.26 million in the first nine months, up 11.82 million tons or 14.51% year on year.
 
China imported 8.37 million tons of lignite in September, down 1.35 million tons or 13.89% year on year, and down 550 thousand tons or 6.17% on the month.
 
The cumulative volume of imported lignite was 78.13 million in the first nine months, up 18.76 million tons or 31.6% year on year.
