Commercial coal output of Shenhua rose by 4.3% YoY in September

According to September’s operation statement of China Shenhua Energy Co., Ltd, commercial coal output of Shenhua in September was 24.1 million tons, up 4.3% from the same month last year, but down 5.12% from August. Commercial coal sales in September were 39.3 million tons, up 11.6% year on year, but down 2.72% month on month.

Over January-September, Shenhua produced 0.22 billion tons of commercial coal, down 0.6% from the same period in 2017. In the first nine months of 2018, Shenhua sold 0.34 billion tons of commercial coal, up 3.6% year on year.

In September, the amount of launched coal at ports of Shenhua was 24.3 million tons, up 19.1% year on year, but down 0.82% month on month. Among them, the amount of launched coal at Huanghua Port was 18 million tons, up 20.8% year on year, and up 2.27% month on month; the amount of launched coal at Tianjin Coal Wharf of Shenhua was 3.9 million tons, up 8.3% year on year, but down 4.88% month on month.

Over January-September, the accumulated amount of launched coal at ports of Shenhua was 0.2 billion tons, up 1.7% year on year. Among them, the accumulated amount of launched coal at Huanghua Port was 0.14 billion tons, up 4.1% year on year; the accumulated amount of launched coal at Tianjin Coal Wharf of Shenhua was 33.8 million tons, up 3.4% year on year.
