568 mines in Shanxi reach level 2 of safety production standardization

Recently, Shanxi coal industry department affirmed that 10 coal-producing mines including Maidizhang Mine of Gengyang company in Taiyuan are listed as the second level of safety production standardization. Up to now, there are 568 mines in Shanxi are the second level and over of safety production standardization, one of which are 168 mines reaching the first level of safety production standardization, and the remaining 400 are the second level ones. It is worth mentioning that mines reaching the first level of safety production standardization in Shanxi account for 38% of mines attaining the first level of safety production standardization in China.

The leader of Shanxi coal industry department expressed that mines below the second level of safety production standardization in Shanxi cannot produce any more from now on. The related parties should encourage mines of the second level of safety production standardization to enhance themselves to the first level ones. Besides, mines should ameliorate technology and equipments, reinforce management, and regularize the behavior of personnel in order to promote the level of safety coal-producing standardization continuously.
