Shaanxi Coal Group has transported coal of 6.18 million tons YTD to Chongqing

Up to 23rd September of this year, Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group (hereinafter referred to as Shaanxi Coal Group) has transported coal of 6.18 million tons to Chongqing, accounting for 113% of the schedule plan, which is reported in the Joint Committee (2018 Q3) for Energy Strategic Cooperation between Shaanxi and Chongqing in 26th September. It is the first time that Shaanxi Coal Group transporting coal of more than 6 million tons in the year, which not only sets a new record of Shaanxi coal to Chongqing, but also marks the remarkable results of energy strategic cooperation between Shaanxi Coal Group and Chongqing Committee on Economy and Information Technology.
Among the coal of 6.18 million tons, the quantities of coal transporting to major power plants are 4.19 million tons, which accounts for 121% of the schedule plan. It means that it has completed the total quantities and thermal coal transportation target of Shaanxi coal to Chongqing in advance in the three quarters of this year.
What is worth mentioning is that the proportion of thermal coal purchasing from Shaanxi occupies 34.4% of total thermal coal purchasing in Chongqing, and it makes up 50% of thermal coal purchasing in Chongqing from other provinces, becoming the major part of thermal coal source in Chongqing.
It is reported that Shaanxi Coal Group has allocated special funds for coal storage of 0.3 billion Yuan. Storing coal of 1.34 million tons in normal coal storage base in Chongqing. The static coal stocks are 379.5 thousand tons, among which are 55 thousand tons of intra-filed coal storage in power plants. Shaanxi Coal Group plans to transport coal of more than 8 million tons to Chongqing in this year.
