In March, as the origin of the coal mine has resumed production, coal output is increasing, the market supply is gradually adequate. At the same time, affected by the epidemic situation, downstream coal enterprises have not yet fully returned to work, and the release of coal demand is limited. Therefore, in March, coal prices in Inner Mongolia rose first and then fell. By the end of March, coal prices had basically recovered to the level before the outbreak of the epidemic.
With the gradual improvement of the epidemic situation, all sectors have recently accelerated the resumption of work and production, and the coal demand in the downstream will continue to increase. However, as the temperature rises gradually in April, the heating demand in the north will decrease. Taking all factors into consideration, the coal price in Inner Mongolia is expected to show a stable trend in April.
