Inner Mongolia coal prices edged up in mid-January

According to Inner Mongolia Development and Reform Commission, the price of thermal coal at mine mouths edged up, and the purchase price of thermal coal was flat in mid-January.
The average settlement price of thermal coal at mine mouths in the region was 217.96 Yuan/mt on January 15th, up 1.06% compared with that of January 5th.
Among them, the average settlement price of lignite at mine mouths in the eastern region was 202.91Yuan/mt, up 2.51% compared with that of January 5th. The average settlement price of thermal coal at mine mouths in Ordos was 246.67 Yuan/mt, the same with January 5th.
Compared with January 15th of 2019, the average settlement price of thermal coal at mine mouths in Inner Mongolia was up 2.46%. Among them, the average settlement price of lignite at mine mouths in the eastern region was up 10.91%, and the average settlement price of thermal coal at mine mouths in Ordos was down 1.33%.
The average purchase price of thermal coal in Inner Mongolia was 216.70 Yuan /mt on January 15th, the same with January 5th. After conversion to standard coal (7000 Kcal/Kg), the average purchase price was 428.06 Yuan/mt, the same with January 5th.
Among them, the average purchase price of thermal coal in the eastern region was 213.31 Yuan/mt, the same with January 5th. After conversion to standard coal (7000 Kcal/Kg), the average purchase price was 494.92 Yuan/mt, the same with January 5th. The average purchase price of thermal coal in the western region was 219.41 Yuan/mt, the same with January 5th. After conversion to standard coal (7000 Kcal/Kg), the average purchase price was 374.57 Yuan/mt, the same with January 5th.
Compared with January 15th of 2019, the average purchase price of thermal coal in Inner Mongolia was up 1.85%. Among them, the average purchase price of thermal coal in the eastern region was up 6.75%, and the average purchase price of thermal coal in the western region was down 1.65%.
