Guizhou has closed 81 coal mines and cut 12.66 million tons of capacity in 2019

Guizhou province plans to close 80 coal mines with a capacity of 10 million tons per year in 2019, according to a statement signed with the state on the responsibility for reducing overcapacity in the coal industry.
After the acceptance checks, 81 coal mines with capacity of 12.66 million tons per year meet the national coal industry's acceptance standard for cutting capacity.
By 2020, Guizhou shall form a modern and new coal industry system with all the coal mines in the province at or above 300,000 tons per year, which shall basically realize mechanized mining, fully realizing intelligent control, steadily guaranteeing the supply of thermal coal and other coal needs, and meet the intensive, safe, efficient and green requirements.
