China imported 30.288 million tonnes of coal in September, up 20.49%

According to the data released by the General Administration of Customs on October 14th, China imported 30.288 million tonnes of coal in September, up 5.151 million tons or 20.49% year on year, but down 2.664 million tonnes or 8.08% on the month.

The cumulative volume of imported coal was 250.573 million tonnes in the first nine months of 2019, up 9.5% year on year.

China exported 238 thousand tonnes of coal in September, up 61 thousand tonnes or 34.46% year on year, but down 103 thousand tonnes or 30.21% on the month.

The cumulative volume of exported coal was 4.218 million tonnes in the first nine months of 2019, up 22.2% year on year.
