SASAC: the task of cutting steel and coal production capacity has be completed

On January 15, the Press Office of the State Council held a press conference on the economic performance of central enterprises in 2019.

Peng Huagang, a spokesman for the SASAC(State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission), said that in 2019, the supply-side structural reform continues to deepen and the reduction of outdated capacity has be completed ahead of schedule, reducing the number of legal entities by more than 14,000. The relevant units have completed the task of cutting overcapacity in steel and coal.
