475 mines are under the production in Shaanxi province

According to a notice released by the Shaanxi Administration of Coal Mine Safety, there are 475 coal mines in Shaanxi province, which are divided into categories A, B, C and D according to the degree of safety guarantee. Among them, 42 mines in category A have a production and construction capacity of 163.79 million tons/year, 142 mines in category B have a production and construction capacity of 208.8 million tons/year, 112 mines in category C have a low level of safety assurance and a production and construction capacity of 248.56 million tons/year, and 179 mines in category D have a production and construction capacity of 11.585 million tons/year.
According to the notice, category A is the coal mine with a high degree of safety guarantee, category B is the coal mine with a general degree of safety guarantee, category C is the coal mine with a low degree of safety guarantee, and category D is the coal mine with long-term shutdown (accouting for 38%).
