Coal production and supply situation in the first 11 months of 2019

According to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), China's coal enterprises above designated size produced 3.41 billion tons of coal in the January-November period, up 4.5 percent year-on-year. At the end of November, 96.97 million tons of coal was stored in key power plants nationwide, which could be used for 24 days.
China shipped 200 million tons of coal by rail in November, up 2.2 percent year on year. In the January-November period, 2.24 billion tons of coal wasshipped, up 3.1 percent year-on-year.
Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed that from January to November of 2019, China's coal mining and washing industry completed 2.24777 trillion Yuan in operating income, up 4.0 percent year-on-year. The total profit of coal mining and washing industry was 266.27 billion Yuan, down 1.7% year on year. The operating cost of coal mining and washing was 1.62172 trillion Yuan, up 6.6% year on year.
