Inner Mongolia coal prices were generally flat in late-December

According to Inner Mongolia Development and Reform Commission, the price of thermal coal at mine mouths was flat, and the purchase price of thermal coal edged up slightly in late-December.
The average settlement price of thermal coal at mine mouths in the region was 212.68 Yuan/mt on December 25th, the same with December 15th.
Among them, the average settlement price of lignite at mine mouths in the eastern region was 193.98 Yuan/mt, the same with December 15th. The average settlement price of thermal coal at mine mouths in Ordos was 241.67 Yuan/mt, the same with December 15th.
Compared with December 25th of 2018, the average settlement price of thermal coal at mine mouths in Inner Mongolia was up 0.72%. Among them, the average settlement price of lignite at mine mouths in the eastern region was up 7.23%, and the average settlement price of thermal coal at mine mouths in Ordos was down 1.36%.
The average purchase price of thermal coal in Inner Mongolia was 215.96 Yuan /mt on December 25th, up 0.70% from December 15th. After conversion to standard coal (7000 Kcal/Kg), the average purchase price was 426.27 Yuan/mt, up 0.56% from December 15th.
Among them, the average purchase price of thermal coal in the eastern region was 211.65 Yuan/mt, up 1.20% from December 15th. After conversion to standard coal (7000 Kcal/Kg), the average purchase price was 490.89 Yuan/mt, up 0.77% from December 15th. The average purchase price of thermal coal in the western region was 219.41 Yuan/mt, up 0.32% from December 15th. After conversion to standard coal (7000 Kcal/Kg), the average purchase price was 374.57 Yuan/mt, up 0.35% from December 15th.
Compared with December 25th of 2018, the average purchase price of thermal coal in Inner Mongolia was up 2.53%. Among them, the average purchase price of thermal coal in the eastern region was up 9.05%, and the average purchase price of thermal coal in the western region was down 1.99%.
