Coal export by category in November

In November of 2019, China exported 790,000 tons of coal, up 15% year-on-year and 450,000 tons or 132.35% month-on-month.
Among them, 220,000 tons of anthracite was exported, up 71.2% year-on-year, and up 100,000 tons or 83.33% month-on-month. The export of coking coal was 70,000 tons, down 65.8% year on year and down 30,000 tons or 30.00%month-on-month. Exports of other bituminous coal were 430,000 tons, up 20.9% year-on-year and up 320,000 tons or 290.91% month-on-month. Exports of lignite were 1,455 tons, up 187% year on year and 1,279 tons or 726.70% month-on-month.
From January to November of 2019, 5.35 million tons of coal was exported, up 15.7 percent year-on-year.
In total, 1.8 million tons of anthracite was exported, up 15.2% year on year. Exports of coking coal were 1.28 million tons, up 22% year on year. Exports of other bituminous coal totaled 2.16 million tons, up 9.9% year on year. Exports of lignite reached 7,200 tons, up 34.1 percent year on year.
